Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer. Reporting to the QA Manager, the Senior QA Automation Engineer joins a worldwide technology team supporting the development, customization, and quality assurance of multiple proprietary, homegrown applications. Playwright with TypeScript is the technology you will predominantly use, so strong experience using these is essential. This role will be responsible for automation testing.This role is based in Costa Rica.How will you make a difference as a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Fragomen?Create and execute Automation scripts for ongoing ReleasesProactively maintain all test automation frameworksProactively build and improve shared librariesProvide critical feedback on feature requirements, designs, and code changesWrite efficient and reliable automated test casesResponsible for promoting and assessing the quality of software across teams on interdependent featuresLeverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent work experienceMust have more than 5 years of experience in Automation testingMust have experience in Playwright with TypeScriptMust have experience in CI/CD pipelineMust have hands-on experience in writing automation frameworks from scratchMust have experience in building systems and version control systems (e.g. Jenkins, Github)Experience in development tools like Jira, Confluence, Test RailExperience with data validation and quality. SQL skills with significant experience RDB (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (i.e., Couchbase, MongoDB)Experience testing web services using SoapUI, Postman or similar software suites a plusExperience with tools like in Selenium using C# and Jmeter or Grafana K6 is huge plusStrong communication and collaboration skillsStrong/effective in Agile/Scrum methodsPassion for quality and advancing technical skillsMust have great analytical and troubleshooting skills and thrive in a dynamic work environmentBenefits:At Fragomen, we know that great people make a great organization.
