Job Description The Senior Quality Engineer (SQE) is our Senior role within the team. A SQE will be responsible of supporting a range of quality assurance tasks by leveraging strong technical skills to collaborate into QA process improvement, using methods as test plans control, assisting on complex manual or automation tests and create or maintaining software testing automation solutions.Key Functional Responsibilities:Create manual test scenarios for automation test cases, identifying and prioritizing the ones who are most suitable for automation testing to achieve the best coverage.Sending status reports informing about status of the testing process, basic metrics, results of tests and raising relevant priority issues and risks.Create level of effort LOE estimates.Ensure content and structure of testing artifacts is documented and maintained using the best practices for quality assurance automation solutions.Be receptive on learning about new technologies and self-driven to stay on top of the QA trending, to apply them on projects or furtherly participate in initiatives as mentoring and knowledge transfer sessions with the team.Research and recommend the most effective technologies, approaches, and strategies for QA Automation implementation across projects.Prioritize necessary tasks and tests for successful testing executions.Identify and inform effectively about potential quality issues and risks on projects.Provide mentoring and guidance for team members.Management Responsibilities:Respond to conflicts with flexibility, communicating assertively and suggesting improvementsAssist lead manager in the creation of documentation and or ramp up effortsAssist manager lead with resource allocation, LOE estimations & risk assessmentsProvide technical support for resources, guiding process improvement initiatives and adherence to best practicesProvide prompt follow up and status reportsActively participate in the craft initiatives such as creating presenting workshops, participating in the recruiting process, and making recommendations also being part of the mentorship programs, identify training needs in the team and works with craft leader to provide the required training either by coordinating or presenting itIdentify processes improvements within the project or the craft and suggest and implement enhancements.Establish positive, trust based relationships with Offshore and Onshore team membersAct like the Offshore and Onshore team members and peers as an expert in their fieldApply the best testing techniques and or best practices constantly during projectsLead knowledge transfer, mentoring and ramp up session of new team members of the team, and be involve in management activitiesParticipate in the Performance program as a Performance managerSupport the discovery, design, recommendation, development, implementation, and on going support of client process workflowsQualificationsEnglish C1Bachelor's Degree (i.e. BA, BS, Software Engineering or a related degree)5+ years of related QA Automation experience1+ years of experience leading teamsStrong Analytical and problem solving oriented skillsAbility to be assertive in communicationAgile methodologiesBack End TechnologiesFront End TechnologiesFunctional TestingTest Case Creation and ExecutionBugs CreationWeb ServicesTicketing & Tracking SystemsDatabase Infrastructure & QueriesAPI TestingGood to have skills/knowledge:ISTQB Foundation or related certificationDesirable knowledge on JavaScriptDesirable experience with test case management tools as Zephyr, Spira test or Xray
