**Careers that Change Lives****A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Performers a variety of import/export duties that include processing papers necessary to facilitate shipments between international locations.- Administers the efficient and economical movement of goods in accordance with organizational policies.- Prepares reviews, approves and maintains files for import/export documents required for the lawful completion of import/export activities.- Serves as an import/export liaison for international customers/subsidiaries, distribution, procurement, planning, manufacturing, intercompany finance, regulatory and import/export compliance functions.- Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage and customs transaction compliance.- You share critical process information with stakeholders in the organization and you create improvement proposals including business cases.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements- Bachelors degree required.- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3+ years relevant experience.- Strong written and verbal communication English skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders (e.g. communicating supply chain, Manufacturing, Import/Export or information to a non-supply chain audience).- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.- Knowledge in ERP (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc. ).- Knowledge Medical Device or other regulated industry experience.**Nice to Have**- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.- Familiar with forecasting/demand planning systems and tools and Advanced Excel.- Knowledge and understanding of import/export processes and procedures in medical devices or pharma industries.- Continuous Improvement mindset and skills.**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
