**Careers that Change Lives**As a member of NewCo's Supply Management Organization, the Indirect Strategy Sourcing Supply is responsible for coordinating indirect purchases, Data, Sourcing Supplier. The Sr Strat Sourcing Spec has responsibility for the indirect governance to ensure Mozarc requisitions are aligned with policies and procedures for both Mozarc and Medtronic. This position is also responsible for auditing purchase requisitions for compliance with policies, training employees on the indirect purchasing process and aligning with internal stakeholders on cost centers, priorities, etc.**A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Provide project management and sourcing expertise to cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.- Manages current supplier issues that involve cost, supply chain challenges, technical issues, capacity expansion, quality, etc to ensure continuity of supply- Develops and executes long-term strategies that will optimize Mozarc's position in terms of quality, cycle/response time, technology, risk, and total cost.- Mitigates risk, leverages technology and purchase power, improves processes and systems, and reduces overall cost of ownership and acquisition.- Negotiates, establishes, and monitors supplier agreements.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree in business management, finances, international business o related areas required.- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience working with suppliers, negotiating contracts, sourcing, developing & executing category strategies, working supplier transfers, creating RFP's/RFQ's, etc.- Advanced English - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.- ERP knowledge (Oracle, SAP, etc.)- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to address concerns, provide process updates, conduct change management activities, and build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.- Conduct regular Supplier reviews with key suppliers at all levels in the supply chain- Collaborate with Sourcing teams regionally to build and implement a world class procurement strategy for global spending and assist in the development of the long-term plan to achieve Mozarc goals and objectives- Perform data analytics, segment suppliers, forecast demand, and identify baselines that meet prioritized business requirements; high skills in Excel, Power Bi, and Data Management are necessary.- Define and execute the sourcing strategy, including approach to market, managing sourcing event documentation and supplier invites, evaluating results, and awarding business.- Maintain supplier relationship by solving key disputes, negotiating final pricing and commercial terms, and leading the category strategy during sourcing events.- Prioritize and validate potential strategic options, determine the benefits cases for these options, and measure the performance against established KPI´s.- Encourage others to engage in transparent and constructive conversations, contributing to high-performance teams and strong working relationships.- Must have strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams and levels across the organization.- Must be a strong influencer, independent thinker and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.**Nice to Have**- SAP Centerpiece/S4 Hana Knowledge.- Medical device experience.- Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and associated sub-tier suppliers.**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
