**Job Description**:3M is seeking a person for the Cash Application Analyst will either ensure that the bank accounts and general ledger & sub-ledgers are aligned at each month-end and/or will ensure any disconnects between the general ledger and sub-ledgers are in agreement/reconciled in a timely matter. The goal of these roles will be either to ensure the company presents an accurate reflection of the level of cash on our balance sheet or the ensure the appropriate balance is being presented on the Company's financial statements monthlyResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:o Identify and research discrepancies between payments and customer remittances receivedo Work with Global Treasury Centers, Credit and Collection and 3M Subsidiaries to determine appropriate resolution for discrepancies.o Work with appropriate reconciliation system to document discrepancies and resolution taken in a format acceptable to internal and external auditors.o Provide assistance during internal and external audits to provide support for audit requests.o Compliance with SOX controls established for SSCo Compliance with high performance KPIs and SLAsBasic Qualifications:o Bachelor's degree or career in progress (Business/finance/accounting)o Business level fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese (advanced)o Experience with SAP Systemo Accounting process knowledge (Record to Report)o Intermediate excelPreferred Qualifications:o Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processeso Highly client service and quality oriented mindset;o Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workloado Excellent communication skills;o Team oriented person who can focus on the details.Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
