**Location**:Cartago, Costa Rica, CR**Job Family**: Manufacturing**Country/Region**: Costa Rica**Job Function Summary**:Execute the value stream production planning, adjust and evaluate progress and resolve conflicts with respect to material and online availability/capacity. Responsible for flagging 4 weeks coverage for manning, shifts, raw material-proposing solutions (extra shifts). Support Site Master Planner and Material Planner when needed.**Major Areas of Accountability**:Responsible of creating an efficient detailed production schedule for each machine with 1 month horizon, taking in account: Materials availability, Capacity per machine, Manning plan**Transfer activities (such as**: validations, engineering tests, etc), Priorities, Maintenance and calibrations.Responsible to lead a daily revision of completions vs targets and agree with Supervisor and Value Stream Manager on necessary actions to take to make sure the production plan is completed according to committed monthly plan.Communicating the production plan through scheduled meetings with value stream and production teammatesResponsible to maintain master data to properly run E1 and OMPParticipate on the daily production 'GEMBAs'Participate and provide status and actions at the weekly 'Game Plan' meeting.Direct liaison between Supply Chain and Production at an operational levelResponsible to communicate to either Supply Chain or Production on relevant changes affecting one or more machinesResponsible to provide insights to production on required output levels and its impact to manning of each machineDaily monitoring of the production process, initiate measures necessary for fulfilling orders, delivery times and logistics to achieve the objectivesParticipation in projects of Supply Chain and Production area (Launch, CR, transfer, lean, etc.)Inventory of the production areaPropose ideas and implement projects for any topics related to the planning processes to improve efficiency.Performing their job in compliance with the guidelines givenDrawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelinesDrawing attention to inefficiency of the systemTake responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position.**Essential Qualifications**:Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineer or similarProficient english level, minimum B2+Minimum of 3-5 years in planning or production related positionsMust have manufacturing environment related experienceExperience in medical devices company is a plusBlack Belt, APICS or Lean certification is a plus**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:Analytical mindsetProactive attitudePursuing an ambitious growth agenda, Coloplast develops and markets products and services that make life easier for people with intimate healthcare needs.
