We act courageously and are uniquely positioned to be a source of stability in a world of evolving healthcare needs.Viatris empowers people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.We do so via:Access - Providing high quality trusted medicines regardless of geography or circumstance;Leadership - Advancing sustainable operations and innovative solutions to improve patient health; andPartnership - Leveraging our collective expertise to connect people to products and services.Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here's how the AMP Sr. Supply Planner role will make an impact:Key responsibilities for this role include:Area: Supply Planning-- Provide planning, procurement, logistics, customs support, and oversight for all assigned products.- Establish strong working relationships with tolling sites and external suppliers (Local Contract Manufacturing Organization) to attain optimal levels of production output, minimize costs while adhering to agree upon production schedules, thereby delivering superior levels of customer service.- Develop and provide tolling site supply performance metrics to VSOT for CM Scorecards to track and identify CM performance trends related to customer service.- Supply assurance — monitor and track supply outlook including supply issues resolution Inventory management and deployment.- Participate and collaborate closely within the Virtual Site Operation team (VSOT) on supply/demand changes, pricing changes, vendor/customer issue resolution, contractual issues, allocations etc.- Develop and update a rolling 24-months master schedule based on demand forecasts, available capacity, inventory policies and regulatory requirements.- Ensure global inventory management policies and processes are adhered to.- Manage allocation for short supply products by collaborating closely with the respective above site API Supply Planning Lead (ASL) and Brand Supply Leads (BSLs) on allocation proposal and inform the allocated quantities to the customer.- Lead and support inventory transition planning for new product transfer projects.- Maintain regular contact with the logistics centres and global planning to resolve demand and supply issues.- Through collaboration with key stakeholder, accountable for driving continuous improvements in supply chain processes, establishing meeting performance objectives and operational changes.- Work on continuous improvement and streamline procedures and processes to be used by the team and secure that processes are documented.- Create and sustain an improvement culture by actively stimulating and supporting Operational Excellence initiatives.- Lead and facilitate the implementation of various projects and initiatives that impact the supply chain team.- Collaborate with all other teams within (Intercompany Operations Customer Service, logistics, transport, customs etc.) and outside External Global Supply to assure supply and improve efficiency of processes.- Flexibility on daily working hours, given the position's workload variability and interaction with stakeholders in other time zones (Asia, US, EU).- Possibility and flexibility to accept reports direct or indirect reports in the future- Travel may be required from time to time (up to 20%).Area: Inventory Management- Verify and review toll reports received in view of bill of materials (BOM) and standard consumption.- Reconcile tolling quantity, calculate, post and review resulting MUVs and P&L entries monthly.- Make the tolled inventory reconciliation sheet for audit purposes, analyse tolling inventories and take corrective action as needed.- Collect, consolidate, verify, and communicate forecasted API volumes per article to be used in the operational plan (budget),- Generate and review the API demand forecast and inventory targets to detect important deviations from the information used for the operational plan (budget).- Update article information with new/changed BOM information or provide update BOM information to the relevant support function and monitor and verify timely and correct set-up.- Monitor current and projected inventory of tolled materials (RSM + API) at contract manufacturers, to detect potential issues, slow moving, overstocking and unavailability situations and initiate/change action as necessary.- Review and management of slow moving and distressed inventory- Collaborate with the Ops lead and Finance team to review and mitigate any distressed inventory.- Work with Ops and finance in setting budget inventory targets for their respective portfolio.Area: Unique Responsibilities- Lead New Product launch planning and execution.- Review and manage slow moving and distressed inventory.- Subject Matter Expert ("SME") for one or more systems and processes related to GES supply chain planning (e.g. E1, VMR, SCD, EAH, SAP ECC / APO, Rapid Respon
