TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Execute the planting and or transplanting, harvesting projects complying with the timelines and sowing and harvesting objectives. Follow and maintain good practices to avoid contamination and ensure the purity of the genetic lines during the execution of the projects. Coordinate the correct execution of the tasks assigned to the temporary staff. To ensure the correct performance of the processes (sowing, harvesting, labeling, sampling, crosses, counts, thinning and dropping, etc.) and the fulfillment of the objectives of each project. Execute and delivery tissue sampling projects according with forecast and delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with harvest and seed quality and quantity target for Crossing new lines projects. Compliance with 100% of projected crossing lines. -Focus on optimization and innovation of process and tools. Developing continuous improvement projects according with annual goals. WHO YOU ARE Agricultural engineer, Agronomist focused in Process engineering, Biotechnologist, or Biologist. Valid driver´s license (at least B1). Willingness to travel and work in plantation in La Palma de Abangares. English spoken and written is desired Use of Microsoft 365 apps (required). Excel is mandatory, special ability to handle large databases. Experience in R and/or programming tools or other data analysis tools (desired). Experience with precision agriculture and tool development. Experience with people leadership. Learn quickly, implement continuous improvement and safety-culture, Results oriented, ability to work independently or in a team, excellent communication skills, critical thinking.
