Our people are our core asset and we look beyond outcomes to ensure that behaviors and interactions matter.Department- Corporate Planning (755100)Role/Responsibilities**Functional Responsibilities**- Responsible for preparing monthly reports, variance analysis and commentaries that will help identify key focus areas for management- Assist in inputting forecast and budget projections and adjustments into Moody's financial reporting system- Assist in preparing annual budget builds and quarterly forecasts- Work with the in-house accounting team and AP team to ensure integrity and relevance of management reporting- Perform system reconciliations and adjustments to guarantee correct reporting- Prepare relevant ad-hoc analysis in support of the financial planning and analysis processes- Work with business intelligence tools to deliver timely and accurate reporting and dashboards to key business stakeholders- Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management- Interact with Business and Corporate Planning colleagues, Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, HR, Tax and business line representatives.**Qualifications**:- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business discipline or progress toward equivalent accountancy qualification- 1+ years experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) - reporting and modeling or in a finance environment- **Key Competencies**:- Proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)- Exposure to Power BI or similar business analytical tools preferred but not required- Attention to details with capacity to understand the bigger picture- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with sometime competing priorities.- Moody's is an equal opportunity employer.
