This role requires demonstrated experience in leading teams and English proficiency as it involves close communication with Stakeholders internal and external.This is a Shared Services role related to standing up the Finance One optimization program.**Essential duties & responsibilities**:- ** Team Management**: Handles HR matters: One on One sessions, supports staff resource planning, organizing, and monitoring of key processes and daily activities, including hiring, training, Individual Developing plans and evaluating staff, and taking effective actions to address performance matters. Distributes equally workloads in a daily basis.- ** Processing Metrics and Accuracy**: Ensures the Team is performing accurately and efficiently throughout the months utilizing the different ERP systems of Stryker. Encourage use of Stryker's tools related to quality, knowledge management tools, etc. Ensure there is a close follow up on Aged items and escalates to business and Senior Manager when needed. Monitors that supplier disputes and issues are resolved timely by the team. Resolution to include root cause analysis, and proactive steps to mitigate future issues utilizing Stryker's process improvement methodology. Creation of new metrics and monito compliance on KPI's.- ** Migrations**: Play a key role in the work migration activities from other Stryker locations, including knowledge transfer and documentation activities. Ensure the team is fully trained to execute.- ** Key Contact - Liaise with relevant parties** (buyers, requestors, and suppliers, etc.) to resolve critical issues preventing invoices to be processed. Responsible of preparing and presenting monthly results to the Divisions. Participates in Control Rooms, Business Reviews and any other management meetings assigned.- ** SOX Control Execution**: guarantee correct controls executions for the processes assigned. As an Associate Manager, create and execute any Management Action Plan when needed (ensures no repetitive findings are found) and assist all internal control meetings, follows procedures to ensure accurate financial records. Provides walkthroughs and is highly engaged with Audit matters.- ** Month End Close**: Ensures the team is performing Month End Close Activities accurately and timely, address IS issues and guarantees to the Division there is a smooth close. Address issues so these are not repeated.- ** Performs other related work** assigned by management: Projects, last minute requests or address new requirements asked by the Center or the Business.**Education & special trainings**:- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Business or related field- MS Office Suite- ** Fluent spoken and written English is a most**.
