Join Western Union as Associate, Settlement Operations.Western Union powers your pursuit.Role ResponsibilitiesThe position is to execute accurately, valid, and timely cash reconciliation and funding tasks, ensure proper settlement transactions, support customers in issues resolution activities, ensure outstanding customer service quality level, maintain valid supporting documents for all transactions, provide research, root cause and recommendations to address gaps in delivering incumbent duties. The position supports Retail Money Transfers or other business products by delivering daily Sub-ledger transactions reconciliation, settlement, exceptions, and discrepancies remediation functions in operational areas.The role is needed to perform daily settlement operations tasks related to International and domestic products like retail for Western Union , Vigo, OV and APN for Western Union. This person would perform tasks with agent and customer impact based on tasks related to reconciliation and analysis of advices, trades, ZBAs, cash movements, accounting bookings and MTCNs, to ensure company cash accounts are properly reconciled and supported for monthly certification, which also includes analysis and attention to details to be able to handle the investigations properly.Role RequirementsHigh School Diploma.0-2 years accounting clerical experience or equivalent like cash applications, accounting or another areas relate.Experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or billing.Knowledge of MS Office Tools.High- sense of urgency, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills.Time management.Settlement knowledge is a plus. will also have access to short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few ().
