Drive the design, integration and implementation of global GSC manufacturing Process Control Network and automation systems throughout the production plant.**Key Responsibilities**:Digitize and automate portions of the manufacturing process and equipment, at the Edwards manufacturing facilities within project team, while focusing on process efficiency and global quality compliance standards by utilizing SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.Discern business requirements and lead portions of transformation projects across the organization generating tangible business results in partnership with stakeholders.Lead the implementation of moderately complex process improvement projects that impact assignedProvide recommendations to improve manufacturing production flow, visibility, and automationintegrations to enable data liquidity, access, and reduction of non-value-added activities.Develop solutions to moderately complex problems.Identify opportunities for process improvements.**Education and Experience**:Bachelor's Degree in in Engineering or related field,3 years' experience Required.Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment Preferred**Additional Skills**:- Experience in PLC logic and programming with one or more of the following PLC's, programming languages orSCADA systems (e.g., Allen Bradley (Logix 5000), Siemens (Step7), Elau, Bosch, Omron, Modicon, GE Fanuc, B&R,Mitsubishi, VB, SQL, Wonderware InTouch, RS View, Siemens, Labview, Factory Talk, GE Cimplicity)- Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills- Good leadership skills- Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing moderate sections of projects- Moderate understanding and knowledge of facilities systems and preventive maintenance programs- Moderate knowledge of facilities related government regulations, GMP, and EHS- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills- Strict attention to detail- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment- Must be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage vendors and project stakeholders- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/controlAbout Edwards LifesciencesEdwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring.
