In pursuit of this goal, the Payment Risk team excels in crafting cutting-edge software systems, intricate risk models, and streamlined operational processes to not only minimize risk but also amplify trust in every transaction.As a member of the Payment Risk Analytics team in the role of Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be delving into vast terabytes of data to pinpoint specific instances of risk, identify broader risk trends, and discern points of customer friction. Your expertise will be crucial in developing scalable solutions for prevention, necessitating effective collaboration with business and product leaders within Payment Risk and cross-functional teams. The focus lies on problem-solving, creating operational efficiencies, and achieving success against rigorous organizational standards.Effective communication is paramount, as you will be expected to independently drive issues to resolution and articulate insights to non-technical audiences. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the security and efficiency of financial transactions, making a significant impact on the overall success of the organization.**Responsibilities**:**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:- Understand the various operations across Payment Risk- Design and develop highly available dashboards, perform business analysis and data queries using SQL, Excel and other BI Tools- Understand the requirements of stakeholders and map them with the data sources/data warehouse- Own the delivery and backup of periodic metrics, dashboards to the leadership team- Draw inferences and conclusions, and create dashboards and visualizations of processed data, identify trends, anomalies- Execute high priority (i.e. cross functional, high impact) projects to improve operations performance with the help of Operations Analytics managers- Perform business analysis and data queries using appropriate tools- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as business teams, engineering teams, and partner teams and align them with respect to your focus areaQualifications:**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights- 2+ years of experience with SQL, visualization technologies such as Quicksight and other BI Visualization Tools**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- Experience working with Tableau- Experience using very large datasets- Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field- Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as Python, R or SAS**WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER**:Because we know how important our people are to the success of our clients, it's a priority to make sure we stay committed to our employees and making Beyondsoft a great place to work.
