Cost & Inventory Accountant

Job Description:GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB- The focus of this position will be supporting the business needs with monthly costing calculations, JE postings, inventory adjustments, PUP posting and analysis, among other tasks.- This position requires the individual be capable of trend analysis, reconciliation, and proactive.What is expected from you?- Monthly PUP run and analysis of associated JE's- Prepare monthly and quarterly JE's (accruals, obsolescence calculations, inventory adjustments, gains/losses, etc.)- Inventory reconciliation, material costing, and posting of associated gain/loss JE's- Inventory auditing and review of obsolete inventory- Drive continuous improvement through developing, automating, and maintaining reports and processes- Assist in providing analytical support for the business group- Assist as needed for special projects/improvements- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules- Knowledge of US GAAP**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience required- 3 - 5 years accounting experience- Cost accounting experience required- Advanced English- Intermediate Excel skills- SAP experience is a plus- BI experience is a plus- Customer Focus- Initiative & Proactive- Analytical ThinkingAdditional Locations:
