Data Analyst will be responsible for the supervised creation of datasets to facilitate visualization tools creation for business understanding, insight, and decision:making. This role leverages information from multiple data sources to create customized complex queries and datasets used for data visualization efforts.
Responsibilities
:Develop SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to create datasets for end:user and data visualization tool consumption
:Execute against strategy for data creation and availability, working against deadlines to ensure accurate data is available for consumers
:Work with the data visualization and ETL teams to create and provide all relevant information required for business reporting
:Set data policies and standards, and aid in use of various tools and solutions that solve business problems
Skills
:Excellent SQL skills and experience working with enterprise data warehouse
:Excellent understanding of JOINS, subqueries, CASE statements
:Excellent understanding of creating/managing Views and Tables, and creating stored procedures
:Strong knowledge of relational databases
:Strong understanding of enterprise integration
:Functional knowledge of ETL processes
:Deliver on ad:hoc data requests from business users while building reports and datasets to help reduce the need for these requests
:Comfortable using MS Excel
