Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe Data Management Specialist II will be responsible for managing key Data Development client relationships to help Experian's data furnishers enhance and maintain the quality of their reported data. The Data Consultant will collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management, translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements and effective data management as a result.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceExcellent written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on analyzing results and translating into relevant presentations for diverse audiencesCritical thinking with the ability to identify and relate business problems to data quality issues and vice versa • Ideal candidates should be able to consistently deliver high quality output in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyOrganized and detail orientedMust be proactive and a self-starterMust be able to work under tight deadlinesGood understanding of the full life cycle of data reportingKey ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for our large data furnishers on data reporting and accuracy; includes education on best practices in data reportingBuild and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients by striving to provide the highest level of customer serviceNavigate a complex business environment and work with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Data management to support data reporting qualityCritically evaluate and interpret data furnisher requirements and propose appropriate solutionsHave a sales-oriented mindset for acquiring new furnishers/data and have growth targets as part of annual objectivesProvide regular reports to senior management on the status of client support requests, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvementsQualificationsQualifications2-4 years of experience in client supportFinancial industry knowledge preferredExperience working with data warehouse or analytical tools for business purposes (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) preferredStrong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker, etc.) a plusGood understanding of the Credit Reporting Resource GuideWhat you'll bringThis role will play a critical role in building relationships with key clients, being a key player in data acquisition strategies, and supporting furnishers in maintaining quality of reported data.Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we truly celebrate yours.
