Medium JavaScript developer to work in a world class product, to join Appvance Inc. Costa Rica team in maintaining and developing functionalities for Appvance Unified Test Platform (AUTP).

Requirements

- Good to excellent English communication abilities
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, JQuery and AJAX
- Fair knowledge on Javascript OOPS concepts and cross domain request handling
- Experience in any of the Javascript libraries such as Jquery, Angular or Node.js Frameworks
- Markup languages XML and JSON
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Proficient understanding of SVN versioning tool

Desired:

- Knowledge of protocols (IP, HTTP, TCP) and Sockets
- Knowledge of some of this testing tools: Jmeter, Sahi, SoapUI, TestNG or Selenium
- Knowledge of web services and SOAP / Rest
