More information can be found at .Oversees and manages value stream activities in accordance with established production schedules, product quality standards and company profit objectives. Ensure schedules are maintained along with evaluating and disposing of rejected material. Check scrap problems, determine root cause and work closely with Engineering, QA and QC to implement controls necessary to maintain high quality within planned production costs. Works with site management to set direction and goals according to company strategies.Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain Finished Good Safety Stock levels, planning out assembly hours, equipment, material resources required. Ensure effective utilization resources.Maintain raw material safety stock levels, review and adjust supply needs and/or material problems.?Monitor flow of work, investigate unusual delays, interface with team leaders, engineering, quality control, manufacturing or sales department personnel to resolve problems and to ensure that production schedules and work quality standards are in line with customer expectations. Recommend acquisition of new or replacement equipment and major tools to improve business performance. Monitor and analyze customer complaints/input and act as a resource to Sales & Marketing Departments. Develop counter measures to identified problems together with local and global teams.Manage continuous improvement programs to reduce risk, improve quality or reduce cost. Establish policies and programs that foster communication, team building, continuous improvement and motivated employees.Build annual operation budget and ensure adherence to budget. Report on financial performance to Senior Management on a regular basis. Keep leadership team informed of unusual operating conditions. Submit a variety of reports relating to manufacturing activities. In collaboration with EHS team, ensure safe working conditions for all employees and compliance to OSHA and local safety regulations. Coach site management team to ensure success of the site management team member´s professional development. Ensures facility is maintained in great condition and always operational through regular preventive maintenance.Perform additional duties or assignments as directed by managementMeasures of Performance:Accomplishments against specific goals (on time, on budget, as specified) Overall plant performance vs. budget (. scrap, labor performance, utilization, cost per hour) Cost improvement and profitability contribution Ability to manage multiple commitments and competing priorities Ability to identify and resolve technical production problems.Ability to achieve consensus and support for technical programs and solutionsMaster's degree in business administration or engineering required with a minimum of 10 years' experience in manufacturing environment that is both technical, labor and machine intensive. Chemical engineering or similar academic background is preferred. Experience with chemical or biochemical liquid solution manufacturing methodologies and quality control is considered an advantage.5+ year of site management responsibility including P&L ownership. Transfer projects experienceExperience in engineering project management. A proven track record of cost reduction and work simplification Creative individual who is able to communicate and coordinate good ideas through to implementation.Ability to communicate well, both orally and written Solid understanding of lean tools and six sigma.Excellent Mathematical and statistical skills.Passing of background check may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction, and educational records.Super user with Excel, Word, Power Point. Ability to learn new systems quickly (ERP, MRP, LIMS, eQMS) is a must. Proficiency with PowerBI, VBA, Macros or other programming languages is considered an advantage.Thorough understanding of medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical, especially as it relates to FDA, ISO, GMP requirements and best practices.#LI-AP1
