Driver - Guide

We are an Inbound Tour Operator that offers travel packages around Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua. We are looking a certified Guide and driver to join to our team.

As a driver & guide, your job will involve introducing tourists from many countries around the world to the Costa Rican unique and popular attractions, such as historical monuments, botanical gardens, National Parks, museums, art galleries and other areas of cultural interest.

Qualifications and skills required:
• Gender: Male.
• Schooling: Secondary completed.
• Certified as a tour guide to the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) and have the card a day (indispensable).
• C2 driver's license, for 15 passengers or more (indispensable).
• High level of English language (indispensable) and preferably with another language (French and/or German).
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a driver-guide (Handling FITs & Groups).
• Availability for rotating schedules.
• Oriented to Customer service.
• Good knowledge of Costa Rica´s main touristic destinations and attractions, preferably with knowledge of Panamá and Nicaragua.
• Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information and guidance current on industry trends, market activities.
• Passionate and positive communicator.
• Availability to work after hours when needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; very proactive, responsible, team work oriented, enthusiastic and personal presentation.
• Excellent knowledge of regulations and legislation related to the environment and public transport.
• Able to work under pressure.
