E-Commerce Senior Developer

Sr. JavaScript Developer, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining an e-commerce app.

Based in San Jose, Costa Rica, this is a key role, requiring extensive web development experience. Our environment will require you to work effectively with the teammates, of course, but your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

**Required Skills
--> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
--> 5+ years of Full Stack web development experience
--> Vast eCommerce experience; ideally with DemandWare (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
--> Deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery
--> Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
--> Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
--> Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members

**Bonus Skills (Desired, not required)
--> Experience with a modern JavaScript framework like React/Redux, Angular and/or Vue
--> Basic understanding of image authoring and web design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
--> Cloud development experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure and/or Google Cloud
--> Other backend development stacks including Java/Spring, .Net/C# or Python/Flask
