Experience what it's like to work at a company with an exciting product pipeline full of patented inventions driving innovation in the healthcare space.**A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.- Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.- Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.- Uses hand and power tools.- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.- Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.- May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.- Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements- Minimum of 5+ years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.- Completed secondary school or minimum Ninth grade of secondary school.- Electromechanical Technician - Electrical Technician or Mechanical Technician (INA or CTP graduate desirable) or related.- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).- This is an on-site weekly shift day position with working hours between (flexible hours/time and overtime when required) - It can be from Monday to Friday or from Monday to Saturday.**Nice to Have**- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).- Ability to use multi meter to troubleshoot incoming power and low voltage controls.- HVAC experience.- EPA universal certification.- Ability to sweat, braze and pro-press pipe.- Familiar with chiller plant and water treatment (RO/DI systems).- Preferred communication English intermediate-avanced.- Experience in - air conditioning - water cooling - positive displacement - diaphragm pumps - water cooling system.- Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements.- Knowledge in EHS field.- Knowledge about project management.- Works under moderate degree of supervision.**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
