You will provide support to the Sr Manager(s) Inventory MSNT and Sr Manager Costing/GRNI for guiding the local Costa Rica team and all related stakeholders commercially and GQO (if needed). You will support in technical accounting, forecasting and month end activities. This role will have day to day management of associate managers and their analyst teams.**_ Key Activities & Accountabilities _**- _Month end:_- _ Manage monthly closing with Divisional Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Global Finance Service Centers (GFS) _teams _- _Responsible for ensuring that on hand inventory, field inventory, and reserves are correctly valued and controlled and all relevant Corporate Policies are applied_- _ Analyze and communicate key business drivers to enable functional business leaders to effectively manage their P&L and provide recommendations_- _ Analyze Inventory, Inventory adjustments, and inventory related variable expenses; provide information to facilitate business reviews and set requirements from a finance perspective in a timely manner. _- _Delivery of monthly business results, including in near future, performance to budget and forecast. Interprets and communicates results to senior leadership and proactively recommends opportunities to improve business results_- _ Prepare the more complex month end journal entries, review and approve those journals completed by the team members._- _ Business partnering_- _ Primary Global Inventory COE point of contact for all matters MSNT related with CRFC colleagues including - but not limited to - RTR, Intercompany, Accounts Payable, and Finance operations _- _Valued business partner to various commercial constituents, including finance, planning, operations, and warehouse management _- _Responsible for effectively communicating relevant information to all stakeholders_- _ Proactively communicate changes in business trends, local business decisions or other issues that may have a financial impact._- _ Analyze and communicate key business drivers to enable function business leaders to effectively manage their P&L and provide recommendations on inventory related concerns_- _ Planning:_- _ Support the planning process with the divisions on preparing forecast models, consolidations, and coordination of projection calls _- _Supporting the Sr. manager for the planning process including support divisions in their forecast models, consolidations and coordination of projection calls in close collaboration with Divisions/Supply Chain/Suppliers/etc. _- _Analyze inventory and inventory adjustments; provide information to facilitate business reviews and set requirements from a finance perspective in a timely manner._- _ Management skills:_- _ Responsible for Costa Rica team by setting direction, developing talent and assist in their technical and professional development _- _Build, manage and develop team of accounting professionals, including setting of annual objectives and completion of the team annual reviews._- _ Compliance:_- _ Finance Manager will be support for Internal and External Audits (mainly SOX related)_- _ Ensure all defined controls Inventory related are updated, performed, reviewed, documented and executed as accurately
