Full Stack Java Engineer

Job Description: Cloudera is looking for an energetic, focused & driven Full Stack Developer to be a key contributor to the architecture, systems, technologies and features delivered on Cloudera web properties.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain features on Cloudera’s web properties leveraging an appropriate mix of Cloudera technologies supported by 3rd party tools/platforms.

- Collaborate with a distributed international team of product management, design and engineering resources to deliver high quality features as efficiently as possible.

- Actively participate in a highly collaborative Agile development process

- Optimize performance and ensure high availability

- Write unit tests and work with QA on both testing and QA automation to enable rapid iterative release cycles.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

- A minimum 5 years of Java experience with 2 years’ experience developing mobile responsive web-based applications.

- Experience with Cloudera’s CDH Distribution including Cloudera Manager a strong plus.

- Must have Experience creating and working with RESTful APIs (Salesforce API experience a plus)

- Experience with Spring Boot is a plus.

- Experience with noSQL databases like DynamoDb or HBase.

- Adobe Experience Manager (CMS) is a strong plus

- Experience with JS frameworks like React or Vue.js

- Must have excellent communication skills

- Must be customer service oriented and work well in a regionally distributed team.
