**Public Relations and Fundraising Manager****Job Summary**:The Public Relations and Fundraising Manager will design and plan initiatives to create and maintain a positive public image for the organization.**Supervisory Responsibilities**:¦ Hires and trains public relations staff including marketing staff, interns and volunteers.¦ Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of public relations staff.¦ Works with Operations Director for discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.**Duties/Responsibilities**:¦ Identifies the audience, including new and potential clients and members; develops a communication strategy and voice appropriate for reaching that audience.¦ Through public-facing communication, develops and maintains a positive public image for the organization.¦ Collaborates with management to develop the organization's vision statement, mission statement, public policies, and related messaging.¦ Collaborates with marketing and advertising staff to ensure marketing campaigns are consistent with the organization's public image.¦ Develops and implements a long-term plan to communicate the company's mission statement internally and externally.¦ Drafts and implements crisis management strategies to mitigate negative media exposure and other similar risks.¦ Composes, reviews, and/or distributes press releases and other public-facing communication.¦ Promotes community events involving the company.¦ Coordinate and attend face-to-face, or in-person, meetings with potential tourism companies (travel agencies, hotels, etc) or other target organizations to facilitate more effective communication, help build strong relationships and increase engagement.¦ Oversees and organizes fundraising activities.¦ Drafts and distributes materials to promote fundraising efforts.¦ Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, or guidelines related to fundraising.¦ Performs other duties as assigned.**Required Skills/Abilities**:¦ Extensive knowledge of public relation principles and strategies.¦ Extensive knowledge of fundraising best practices and strategies.¦ Excellent public speaking skills.¦ Excellent written communication skills with a proven ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for external publications.¦ Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and outlets.¦ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.¦ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Canva, FundraiseUp, Online analytics, Google AdWords, InDesign, Lightroom andPhotoshop or software alike)¦ Proficient with Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and running professionally executed advertising campaigns.¦ Fluent in Spanish and Proficient in English**Education and Experience**:¦ Three to five years of experience in public relations, communications, or related field required with supervisory experience preferred.¦ Must own a vehicle (will be compensated for mileage.)Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- Quepos, Provincia de Puntarenas: Trasladarse al trabajo sin problema o estar dispuesto a mudarse con una paquete de apoyo para mudarse proporcionado por la empresa (Obligatorio)Pregunta(s) de postulación:- Tiene carro propio?Educación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Experiência:- cinco: 3 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Ingles y Español (Obligatorio)Disponibilidad para viajar:- 50 % (Obligatorio)
