The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 1 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.The HRSS Operations – Background Screening Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support service to execute and monitor for completion new hire and existing employee background screening requirements as per the Global HRCC Background Screening Control ProgramResponsibilities:Support multiple geographically dispersed Recruiters, Recruiting Managers, HR and Risk Control Partners with varying degrees of background screenings requestsEnsures a high volume of background screening requests are submitted accurately, timely and with all necessary documentation to the appropriate background screening partners/vendorsServe as Background Screening Subject Matter Expert while managing the complexity of the many regulations and policies dictated by geography, Citi businesses and or job profile Monitor background screening results to resolve discrepancies found within background screens and determine appropriate final dispositions in accordance with established guidelines to determine final hiring decisionEnsures both regulatory and Citi background screening requirements/SLAs are satisfied before permitting employment/transfer to commenceEnsure the complete and accurate record-keeping of reports and documents that support the background screening completion to share with appropriate stakeholders as neededInteract directly & proactively with various levels of candidates, HR professionals and hiring managers (to include Senior Level, SVPs, Directors and Managing Directors) on sensitive matters pertaining to background screening and employment eligibility Manage workload through case management tool, to include conventional screening requests, rescreening projects and ad-hoc submissionsBe a brand ambassador for Citi, both in person and online.
