Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive.To learn more about Inclusion & Diversity at Medtronic Click Here**A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.- May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.- Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.- On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.- Participates in daily Tier Management.- Coaches Teams on day to day problem solving.- Performs studies to diagram and evaluate existing processes.- May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering industrial or related.- Requires 1 year of relevant experience oh 1 year as an intern in Engineering is preferable.- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with executive leadership.- Fluent in English and Spanish communication ( B2+ - B2).**Nice to Have**- Experience with policy deployment and tier management.- Lean Sigma Green Belt certification.- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Word.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA).- Six Sigma tools and certification.- Medical device manufacturing experience.**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
