The successful Quality Assurance candidate will have solid experience with testing automation tools. You will represent the QA department in a project team capacity, and will be responsible for quality advocacy, planning, implementation, testing and validation, quality reporting and metrics.
Responsabilities
With your incredible previous experience, we expect you to:
Act as QA representative on project teams
Monitor project compliance to standards and guidelines
Verify that project documentation is sufficiently detailed to support development of QA materials
Perform integration, functionality, system, regression, load and acceptance testing using manual methods and testing tools
Perform business and functional requirements verification
Record all test results, and completely document defects and system errors
Manage some administration of testing and QA tools
Work under minimal supervision from QA Lead / Sr
Have basic understanding of reports and metrics for the client
Estimate your own work and help on project estimates with supervision
Work as a gatekeeper of processes and raises flags on time
Required skills
You must have:
2+ years of experience in the following:
Deep understanding of testing methodologies and strategies
Proficient in creating formal test plans, test cases, checklist, bug reports and traceability matrix between test scripts and requirements
Fully able to read through, understand and execute test cases without guidance
Proficient on bug tracking and defect creation
Web testing experience
Able to work under pressure
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Meticulous nature; displaying a penchant for detail and precision
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Critical and analytical thinker
Good understanding of automation tools
Good understanding in process improvements strategies/methodologies
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B1or more)
It would be awesome if you also have:
Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and such)
Formal software testing training or certification
