We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Global Tokenization team. The team designs, builds and maintains systems at Equifax in order to provide a PCI descoping solution for the enterprise. What You’ll Do
You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software per given business requirements.
Define and own accountability in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning.
You have the ability to translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
You are part of a community and participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
You have a real passion for innovation! Any experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP and Deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Ansible, Chef, Helm, Docker, Terraform, etc. will help us on our exciting journey
You have experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
Identify improvements in systems and work processes
Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation.
Use engineering methodology to facilitate the ideation, creation and eventual running of a software system in a production capacity.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required
5+ years experience with background in backend Java development
5+ years of experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software
5+ years of working knowledge with standard dev tools (Git, some IDE, Maven, Jenkins, UML, etc.) and understand CI/CD concepts
2-3 Years of experience with ETL (AVRO, Fixed Position, Delimited, JSON, XML, Segmented, EBCDIC file formats)
1-2 Years of experience with Cloud computing experience (Preferably GCP)
2+ Years of experience Working knowledge with Spark
Extra Points for any of the Following
PCI DSS (compliance)
Secure coding background/training. This could be a background in security, a background in cryptography, or just general training/experience for coding for hardened environments.
Familiarity with one or more cryptography libraries. Bouncy Castle preferred or other cryptography libraries are acceptable (JCE, Tink, Vault, Miscreant, etc.)
