We are looking for creative individuals who are driven to produce great solutions while following standards and industry best practices. The role require an intelligent and self-motivated developer. The developer will join an existing, multi-disciplinary, multi-projects team composed of distributed people, in order to work implementing and deploying commercial solution within Insurance industry. Those projects bring high value to Insurance carriers by simplifying the integration with third-party software. The developer will be required to understand InsurTech's solutions and ensure the best way of integration, using modern patterns, of those systems.**Responsibilities**:- As part of an agile team, work closely with business analysts, designers and QA.- Analyze business requirements and user needs to determine technical design.- Participate in planning activities, collaborate and coordinates the efforts across development teams.- Provide suggestions and adjustments as needed to deliver quality software within project scope and timeframes.- Promote and perform development work consistent with industry standards and best practices; design interfaces and integrations.- Perform unit testing and support test automation.- Conduct peer code reviews.- Work on R&D activities and prototypes.- Support the systems once they are up and running.**Skills Required**:- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.- +5 years of professional experience with Java- Gosu, Version control systems, XML, SOAP, and REST services- Experience with object oriented design patterns: MVC and Object-Relational Mapping.- Winning attitude and a team player.- Quick learner and want to develop your expertise in new technologies.- Experience building and maintaining micro-service components and architectures.- Experience building measurement and continuous improvement into software.- Ability to satisfy complex business requirements through simple design and execution.- Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Migration experience ( nice to have )- Ability to communicate needs and capable to process/execute instructions.**Desired or Nice to have Skills**:- Guidewire configuration and/or integration certification.- Guidewire integration experience.- InsurTech expertise.- Previous GW product upgrades experience.- Minimum 1 year experience in Guidewire development in ClaimCenter
