Person(s) hired for the Cash Application Team will either ensure that the bank accounts and general ledger & sub-ledgers are aligned at each month-end and/or will ensure any disconnects between the general ledger and sub-ledgers are in agreement/reconciled in a timely matter. The goal of these roles will be either to ensure the company presents an accurate reflection of the level of cash on our balance sheet or the ensure the appropriate balance is being presented on the Company's financial statements monthlyResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:- Support Cash Applications or Credit and Collections activities to ensure compliance with the service and end to end of processes. This may involve communication with Global Teams and 3M subsidiaries.- Support Cash Applications activities over non-complex payment methods.- Work and interact with different systems and programs to comply with the daily activities- Comply with daily/monthly SLAs and KPIs designed for the activities and teams in scope of work.- Provide assistance during internal and external audits to provide support for audit requests.- Compliance with SOX controls established for SSC.Basic Qualifications:- Between 0-2 years experience (Students from Technical High Schools with technician in accounting will be considered without professional experience)- Bachelor's degree and/or previous experience with Credit and Collections, Cash Applications or Related areas- Fluent in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:- Working knowledge of SAP- Being fluent in French and/or Portuguese is considered attractive- Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes- Highly client service and quality oriented mindset- Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload- Excellent communication skills- Team oriented person who can focus on the details.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Demonstrated skills in alpha-numeric keyboard usageSupporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
