Plans, coordinates, and resolves accounting matters with other accounting members, departments, locations, and divisions.- Ensure timely and quality completion of period close processes.- Manage analysis of balance sheet and P&L transactions.- Prepare, review, and approve Account Reconciliation of accounts.- Execute and/or supervise** **month-end close activities and communicate risks and opportunities to Associate Manager.- Find opportunities to improve closing activities and drive process improvement.- Take a leadership role for accounting-related issues and ensure company adherence to policies and procedures, US GAAP, and local GAAP.- Maintain business partnerships with other client departments, locations and regions, and internal customers/suppliers.- Oversee and support the clerk positions in the team by promoting a team environment and providing work direction and guidance.- Performs other related work as assigned by management.**What you need**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance- Proficiency in the English language- Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel- ERP System (JDE, HFM)- 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in a matrixed international company (preferably an American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems- Experience of working in a shared service center across a global /large organization will be an added advantage**About Stryker**:Stryker is one of the world's leading medical technology companies and, together with our customers, is driven to make healthcare better.The company offers innovative products and services in Medical and Surgical, Neurotechnology, Orthopedics, and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes.
