Come be a part of this journey!****BAT COSTA RICA IS LOOKING FOR A LEX Executive****JOB TITLE: Lex Executive****FUNCTION: DBS****SUB FUNCTION: GBS****CITY & COUNTRY: San Joaquín, Heredia, Costa Rica****ROLE SUMMARY****What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?****What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?****Reports to**Legal Counsel**Number of Direct Reports**N/A**Core Relationships****Internal **-** key stakeholders**Travel Required**N/A**ACCOUNTABILITIES**- Support the management of HR matters, which may include analysis, research of local laws, follow up on external support, and decision making.- Support the compliance of processes of the Legal Compliance policies (Records Management, Data Protection, SoBC, ABAC, Sanctions) which may include reports, tracking, sign offs, trainings, and active participation in such group's committees, when required.- Proactively manage the updating of the legal policies whenever required, as well as provide support to different functions when their policies involve Legal matters.- Manage end-to-end the Legal Contract Process which involves analyzing of the request, creation of all the contracts of low/medium complexity for the legal entity, support to the stakeholder when needed, and provide training for the users of ICERTIES (contract management tool).- Support on the multi-functional issues and projects when Legal support is required, which may include preparations and active participation on forums, when requested.**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE****ESSENTIAL****Experience Required**- 3+ years of graduate but already collegiate- Working knowledge of local labor and contractual law**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**- Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and basic Excel- Strategic thinking and high sense of urgency and ability to thrive under a high-pressure, fast-paced environment- Strong customer focus and must be flexible and adaptable to work with various levels of employees- Must have proven skills in multitasking and organization**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**- Bachelor's Degree in Law- Bilingual (English B2)**BENEFICIAL**- Experience working in the corporate area- Experience working with other cultures**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
