Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesThe Costa Rica logistics team, based in Heredia that is in charge of the shipping and warehousing operation is looking for a motivated and talented Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of the dispatch cycle. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with the logistics supervisor and other cross-functional departments.Main responsibilities- Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.- Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively, and that work schedules and targets are met.- Generate the daily shipment plan looking to achieve the monthly volume and on time delivery goals.- Coordinate with the Warehouse preparation of sales orders and execute billing processes.- Analysis, follow-up and resolution of the customer claims.Who are we looking for?**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree or advanced student in industrial engineering, business administration or related field.- At least 2+ years of experience in logistics processes; invoicing experience is preferred.- Transportation planning processes experience is preferred.- Availability for rotating schedules.- Intermediate to advanced English (preferred).- Dispatch claims administration is preferred.- SAP experience is preferred.COMPETENCIES- Ability to solve technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.- Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail.- Demonstrated willingness and ability for learning and development.- Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
