Team Overview and Job responsibilities The Costa Rica logistics team, based in Heredia that is in charge of the shipping and warehousing operation is looking for a motivated and talented Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of the dispatch cycle. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with the logistics supervisor and other cross-functional departments.Main responsibilitiesMonitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively, and that work schedules and targets are met.Generate the daily shipment plan looking to achieve the monthly volume and on time delivery goals.Coordinate with the Warehouse preparation of sales orders and execute billing processes.Analysis, follow-up and resolution of the customer claims.Who are we looking for? REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or advanced student in industrial engineering, business administration or related field.At least 2+ years of experience in logistics processes; invoicing experience is preferred.Transportation planning processes experience is preferred.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.Availability for rotating schedules.Intermediate to advanced English (preferred).Dispatch claims administration is preferred.SAP experience is preferred.COMPETENCIESAbility to solve technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated willingness and ability for learning and development.Your application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
