**Job Title**: Maintenance Technician 2Maintenance Technician 2**Overview**Carries out 1st line repairs (curative maintenance) on a limited number of machines in one field of work.Direct and coordinate duties for contractorsProvide day-to-day tasks in support of Manufacturing Engineer or Manager. Troubleshoot technical issues to determine root cause of malfunction."**Responsibilities**- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance- Optimize lifecycle of maintenance parts and reduce cost- Improve machine availability and reduce breakdown- Advise in maintenance approach and update maintenance plan to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.- Raise maintenance request as and when informed about any issue- Work within multidisciplinary teams, inform and keep good relations**Requirements**:- High school, 9th grade diploma education.- Desirable engineering studies in a related field such as maintenance, electro mechanics, electronics, industrial, etc may be acceptable or a combination of equivalent job experience in related field.- Requires Electronics, Electromechanical or electrical technician of a technical institution or equivalent training or a combination of equivalent job experience in related field.- Desirable adequate combination of educational background and/or experience in Medical Companies to effectively perform self-training.- Basic English skills**About Philips**We are a health technology company.
