Additionally, we help our team members navigate their path towards financial security through our Global Stock Ownership and Employee Stock Purchase Programs.**Your Next Career Opportunity**Under direction of the Managing Director, Legal Intl of SBA Communications Corporation (SBACC), this position will oversee operational and regulatory related legal matters, contractual obligations and litigation matters of SBACC's subsidiaries in Costa Rica and other markets as assigned**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**- The Managing Director, Legal Intl, either directly or through other members of the SBACC Legal Department, will provide the Manager, Legal Affairs - Costa Rica with document forms, policies and practices utilized by SBACC elsewhere. Manager, Legal Affairs - CR will be responsible for adapting such forms, policies and procedures, will oversee all operational and regulatory related legal matters, contractual obligations and litigation matters of SBA in Costa Rica. Quantitative and qualitative thresholds will require the approval of Director of Central American Legal Affairs and/or business personnel for decision making with regard to certain matters.- Legal work product may be requested by the General Counsel, the President - International or the Vice President of International Business Development of SBACC, or the Operations Manager. Requests for legal work from other persons must be approved by one of the persons mentioned above.- Manager, Legal Affairs - Costa Rica may refer certain legal matters to local Costa Rican outside counsel within outsourcing parameters approved by Managing Director, Legal Intl.- Manager, Legal Affairs - Costa Rica will be resident in the San José office, will interact daily with SBACC business personnel and will provide periodic reports to SBACC business personnel regarding matters being handled. However, Manager, Legal Affairs - Costa Rica will report to Managing Director, Legal Intl and will meet regularly and provide periodic reports regarding matters being handled..- Other projects and duties as assigned.**Supervisory Responsibilities**- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.- Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.- Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.- Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision and values.- Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.- Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.**What You'll Need - Qualifications & Requirements**- Bilingual in English/Spanish required- Bachelor's Degree Lawyer and Notary degree;and 3-5 years of experience, preferably in real estate transactions including, but not limited to landlord-tenant relations, development & construction.
