**Careers that Change Lives****A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Bachelors degree required- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years of experience- knowledge and understanding of Global and Local policies and procedures were relevant to Quality which includes compliance & regulatory, FDA, GMP, control for manufacturing Medical Devices, ISO 13485, and quality system.- Excellent verbal and written English and Spanish communication skills.- knowledge process Validations (IQ,PQ,OQ), Statistics and Experimental Analysis,or related.**Nice to Have**- Proficiency of statistical/data analysis and report writing experience.Experience working on FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 Regulated environments.Experience in process improvement tools such as: Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone, Is/Is Not, Six Sigma or Process Control or related.- Experience in Project Managment manufacturing, transfer.- Knowledge solid problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skill- High level of integrity and accountability, curiosity and inquisitivenes**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
