Network Operations Engineer

**KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**- Extensive hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco SD-WAN routers using vManage- Ability to manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load-balancers- Advanced knowledge of VLANs, spanning tree, BGP & EIGRP routing protocols, and address translation- Operational knowledge of Wireless LAN access points, controllers, and associated tools e.g. Cisco DNA Center- Functional understanding of DNS, DHCP, NTP, SYSLOG, SNMP and common communication ports- Ability to analyze data and deliver metrics associated with utilization, capacity and functional operation of the network using industry-standard network monitoring tools- Ability to comprehend and create complex network maps and drawings with Visio- Advanced understanding of IP addressing including subnetting and supernetting- Operational understanding of different media and cable types- Ability to perform maintenance activities outside of normal business hours- Participate in weekend on-call work rotation (every 6 weeks)**EDUCATION/LANGUAGE**- Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS or related technology discipline preferred or proven experience required- Cisco Certified Network Professional or other industry certifications are an advantage- Written and spoken English (B1)**EXPERIENCE / SKILLS**- 5 years supporting a network infrastructure for a large enterprise- Experience supporting a cloud environment such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure or AWS is an advantage
