Network Security Engineer

The network security engineer plans, design, implement, audit, and troubleshoot the network security system to keep the network infra stable and optimized.
The day to day job is to protect the network infrastructure from various threats attacks and bugs that could potentially compromise the network.
One should have a thorough knowledge and good hands on experience in managing multi vendor security system including firewall, proxy, IDS IPS and UTM devices.
Plan, implement and deployment of new network infrastructure Analyze and improve efficiency of existing network infrastructure
Maintain technical documents and baseline parameters which helps in troubleshooting the network connectivity
Participate in troubleshooting calls and provide opinion from SME point of view
Provide cost benefit analysis of new and upgrading of old infrastructure
Exerts positive influence on both immediate project o team through challenging situations.
Assumes responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and flow of tasks.
Proactively identifies and mitigates risks and assigns appropriate owners to prevent issues and enhance performance.
Guides research efforts of teams, recognizing when to apply inference, creativity and experience Understands defines the various roles that respective teams play in the project process. Communicating Effectively
Prepares clear and concise executive summary to communicate with leadership.
Creates communication strategy for the team project with clear objectives and expectations. Understands and factors in the cultural diversity of the audience when planning communications. Demonstrates positive attitude and supports the team through challenging situations

At least 5 years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer in Network Infrastructure architecture design and implementation.
Academic background related to computer science.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity in multi vendor environment
Experience in security finding mitigation using various tools and technique black hole route, RPF, null route, black list, URL redirection, http header rewrite, NAT Experience in setting up external facing web, SFTP, gateway and proxy servers
