The Industrial Engineering (IE) Department manages factory capacity strategy and layout planning, equipment purchases and inventory management, and drives efficiency in productivity and cost to meet customer demand.This position and group are forward looking giving you the possibility to impact not only today's, but specially tomorrow's triumphs, on a very dynamic and always-changing environment. It requires to work with other factories outside of normal office hours since will work with Virtual Factory and have worldwide visibility. It also supports schedule flexibility to align to these meetings. If you want to be part of a team that orchestrates the oiled/great machine that improves the life of every person on the planet, this is a position you would want to apply.**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:- Creates and develops concepts and specifications that optimize the function, value and appearance of products and systems for the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer.- Collects, analyzes and synthesizes data guided by the special requirements of the customer or manufacturer.- Possesses general knowledge of Industrial Design Process, but has limited use of accepted practices, procedures and methodologies.- Contributes to larger teams by implementing small to medium sized parts of products or concepts.- Solves problems of low to medium complexity and often works from high level sketches or solutions developed by others.- Individual learns what resources are available and asks for help as necessary.- Produces appropriate documentation relevant to current assignment and works from specific detailed instructions under the close supervision of a Senior Industrial Designer.**Behavioral Traits**:- Strategic thinking.- Self learning.- Discipline, attentiveness to detail.- Tracking and follow up on issue resolution.- Team work and influencing skills.- Willing to manage ambiguous topics and complex issues.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications**You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:- Bachelor or Licenciatura Degree in Industrial Engineering, Product Engineering or related fields.- Intermediate to advanced English Level.- 3+ years of experience in high volume manufacturing environment.- 3+ years of experience in time study process, drive statistical validation results analysis (using Problem Solving Methodologies) and elaborate action plans for deviation from production standard targets.- 3+ years of experience in scheduling, prioritization of dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members based on New Product Introduction roadmap and manufacturing needs.- 3+ years of experience in demonstrated proficiency using tools such as Excel and JMP statistical software.**_ Preferred Qualifications:_**- Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.**Inside this Business Group**Intel makes possible the most amazing experiences of the future.
