This role is positioned to drive the success of the "New Health Care Company".Brief Description of the role.As a Patent Administrator for the Costa Rica GSC for SpinCo, you will be supporting a group of patent professionals with prosecution related work activities, including patent filing, docketing, routine prosecution correspondence, and managing a patent docket.The Impact You'll Make in this Role:- Generate, manage, and maintain dockets for assigned attorneys and agents.- Create Office Action Response templates.- Track prior art and prepare Information Disclosure Statements (IDSs).- Proofread patents and prepare Certificates of Correction.- Provide document management support (e.g. save documents to associated record in the IP Management System).- Creating new patent records/matters- Docketing & de-docketing patent related communications- Serving as the go-to resource for all docketing-related matters including keeping up-to-date on global docketing practices and procedures, and communicating with in-house IP practitioners, outside counsel, foreign associates, and patent offices around the world.What we are looking for:- Bachelor Degree in any field- Minimum of three (3) years of patent experience (corporate or law firm) supporting worldwide patent filing and prosecution activities.- IP Management System experience, preferably Anaqua.- Advanced English languages skills (able to fully communicate and understand the language).Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:- Attention to detail- Strong prioritization and time management skills.- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, including advanced English language skills (able to fully communicate and understand the language).- Collaborative, team player with strong interpersonal skills.- Strong computer skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.- Experience handling confidential information.- ProactiveWork location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)Travel: May include up to 20% Domestic/International3M es un empleador que ofrece las mismas oportunidades. 3M no discriminará a ningún solicitante de empleo por razones de raza, color, edad, religión, sexo, orientación sexual, identidad o expresión de género, origen nacional, discapacidad o estado de veterano.Our approach to flexibility is called Work Your Way, which puts employees first and drives well-being in ways that enable 3M's business and performance goals.
