Privacy Content Writer, Workplace Trust: Privacy, Ai, And Risk

Our mission is to set, maintain, and monitor privacy guidelines by balancing business risk with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and employee, candidate, and contractor expectations. We work hand in hand with internal Amazon builders and show them how to build 'privacy by design and default' into their applications and systems.We're looking for someone to help our Low Risk Assessment team create documentation on Amazon's low risk systems. As a Privacy Content Writer you will interact with stakeholders to determine and document the risk level of their systems. In the process, the candidate will learn about global privacy regulatory requirements, like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).The identified candidate will demonstrate proven experience to: support diverse stakeholders; understand levels of potential risk and how to address them; improve process efficiency and scalability; and produce clear, concise documentation.Prior applying, please consider the following information about the role: • This is not a virtual position. If selected for this role, you will be required to work from our SJO10 building, located in Calle Blancos, San José in a hybrid-model, attending three days to the office and two days from home.• Our only production schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Night and "graveyard" shifts are not available at this time.Key job responsibilities- Writing clear, concise documentation about technical systems.- Communicating with stakeholders to clarify system requirements.- Responding to stakeholder questions and troubleshooting issues.- Contributing to other risk and compliance related projects as needs arise.A day in the lifeThe 'day-to-day' aspect of this role will be to write documents that log privacy risks and system parameters in accordance with customer and stakeholder input.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:San Jose, CRIBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ year(s) of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service and/or back-office compliance-related environments.- Work experience in content writing.- Work experience in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc).- B2+ English proficiency (Intermediate/advanced).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Speak, write, and read fluently in German- University bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Communications.- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to identify specific project needs.- Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.- Able to keep track of multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
