The idealcreativity to enhance our production systems and pipelines.This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of our media dataprocessing and delivery.**Key Responsibilities**:- Develop, maintain, and optimize production pipelines for news processing and dataenrichment.- Implement and refine automated QA processes to ensure the highest data qualitystandards.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute process improvements.- Contribute to the design and development of new features and tools to enhanceproduction efficiency and data quality.- Ensure robust version control and collaborative development practices using GitHub.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintainsystem health.- Participate in the creation and execution of testing protocols for system enhancementsand new releases.**Minimum Qualifications**:- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a production engineering or similarrole.- Strong programming skills in Python. Knowledge of C++/C is a plus.- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.- Experience with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices andproduction pipeline architectures.**Desirable Skills**:- Experience working with news data or in a media-focused technology environment.- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.processes and data quality**Working Conditions**:Eastern Time business hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.- The role may occasionally require flexibility to meet project deadlines or address systemissues outside of standard hours- Solid understanding of testing protocols, including automated QA processes.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a natural curiosity about news processing and dataquality.Desirable Skills:- Experience working with news data or in a media-focused technology environment.- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.processes and data quality.
