About the Role:

Leads a high performing, customer centric purchasing team within Global Business Services (GBS) providing one or more business services to Boston Scientific. Ensures consistency with global processes and maximizes operational efficiency.
Your Responsibilities Include:
* Manages the day to day execution of PO and Spot Buyers teams. Focus on buying of non:strategic items, including supplier identification, negotiation and supplier selection.
* Spot Buyers will focus on goods and services with low dollar thresholds (i.e., 10K : 50K).
* Manage, lead and drive the PO and Spot Buyer resources
* Ensure delivery of the PO and Spot Buy service with agreed upon SLAs
* Provide PO and Spot Buy oversight on critical negotiations
o Lead critical spot Buy negotiations with buyer team support
* Ensure Category Strategies are consistently applied for all PO and Spot buys
* Develops and translates strategy into operational goals and objectives.
* Anticipates needs, identifies necessary resources (people and capital); assesses opportunities against business objectives, manages risk and determines creative means to implement new and innovative technical and process solutions
* Ensures team members consistently follow proper control procedures
* Works with various functional and regional leads to identify process and policy improvement opportunities and champions a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborates with CI Function to prioritize and execute CI projects
* Works in conjunction with the Global Process Stewards to develop and operate any applicable reporting and analytics to measure the efficacy and efficiency of their process
* Manages client service requests, issues and resolution and reviews/analyzes new services requests
* Participates in governance models. Ensures process specific agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to and engages in root cause analysis of performance issues when they arise. Continually revisits SLAs to ensure proper components are being measured.
* Builds and maintains relationships throughout the organization
* Responsible for leading and supervising Global PO and Spot buyers.
What Were Looking For:
:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Field Related.
:English Level required: B2+: (80 : 89).
:At least 2 years of experience in similar position.
Desired knowledge: Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy, must be a quick learner and able to engage well with internal and external customers, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Financial tools (Hyperion,SAP) preferred. Results:oriented, excellent attention to detail and organization skills,Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, comfortable with frequent change and ambiguity in a matrix organization, analytical decision making; problem solver, ability to deliver against targets and objectives.
