Quality Control Manager

Job Description Manages the Subassemblies and Finished Product Quality Control Department consisting of quality inspectors. Responsible for ensuring that products meet specified requirements. Job duties: Manages department of process QC inspectors. Ensures products meet specified requirements. Works closely with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve non-conformances and other inspection issues. Ensures staffing levels are appropriate for current and anticipated workload. Ensures staff is properly trained. Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent. Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working closely with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Production. Ability to problem solve, with a “can do” approach. Good communication skills. Desired Qualifications Industrial Engineering Degree or advanced knowledge in Industrial Engineering. Knowledge of medical product manufacturing. Ability to understand the technology related to MicroVention’s products. Ability to read and prepare technical documentation. Good communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to resolve issues among associates within QC department as well as between QC and other departments. Computer skills including MS Word & Excel. Posting Country Outside US
