Oikocredit has more than 300 members of staff in around 20 countries with over 30 nationalities.**About the job**This position supports regional office staff with operational, and legal support tasks.The Regional KYC & Operations Officer provides operational support to the functional areas of the region. The KYC & Regional Operations Officer is safe guarding the document flow throughout the investment process including the support in legal DD, KYC and monitoring guarantees and release of the same.In this role, the ROO must be knowledgeable about anti-money laundering processes and procedures. In addition, he or she is responsible to review and monitor all the investor risk level and completing missing KYC dossiers.You will be working closely with the different Investments Manager and Officers. Also, you will report to the Regional Director and coordinate and communicate efficiently with Legal & Compliance Unit when required.**Main responsibilities**- Guarantee quality AML (giving training and checks, support to compliance HO)- Guarantee and manage adequate document flow- Oversee guarantees and releases- Support Investment officers in Legal DD (training and ad hoc support)- Liaises with compliance, operations and legal & compliance units- Support the Foreign Lending Matrix- Support the implementation and the coordination with the different functional areas the compliance matrix- Coordinate Data Protection Law in the country offices**Qualifications, skills, and experience**- Advanced studies in Law or Bachelor degree legal education or similar, preferably with AML training- Proven expertise with AML/KYC regulatory requirements and stakes for financial institution- General financial knowledge- Excellent analytical skills- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines- Great attention to detail- Quality oriented- Good interpersonal skills- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience- High computer literacy in general- Fluency in English**Competencies**Initiative, Cooperation, Verbal Communication and presentation, Written communication, Client & Service Orientation; Written Communication; Accuracy, Stress Tolerance**Benefits**- You will be working in an inclusive, international and diverse environment.- You will benefit from a flexible work environment with a good work-life balance.- You will have access to training and learning opportunities.**How to apply
