Tasks to be fulfilled by this position include: contributing to the functional strategies in sourcing local products/services; clarifying with internal stakeholders their requirements in terms of products/services and specifications; conducting market intelligence to identify relevant suppliers; conducting RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs processes, as well as negotiations with suppliers; coordinating the preparation and review of contracts together with the Law department, monitoring supplier performance according to standards/criteria defined in the contracts.Your 'day to day'- Review and/or define together with customers their business requirements in terms of products/services needs and related standards of quality in order to establish the appropriate sourcing strategy(ies) for the assigned category(ies).- Contribute to the definition, formulation and implementation of coherent sourcing strategies, Principles & Practices for the assigned categories based on business requirements and supply market trends in order to drive economies of scale and secure best total cost of ownership (TCO).- Assess vendors and evaluate their products, services, capabilities and potential synergies and drive strategies towards efficiency improvement in the procurement process.- Conduct internal and external market research (including RFI), evaluate findings, make evidence based decisions and recommend on procurement matters addressing queries, resolving conflicts and confusion where exist from the IMS team.- Analyze current products/services portfolio and supplier base in order to identify cost savings and synergy opportunities and further consolidate the sourcing strategy(ies) of the Purchasing function, primarily for local categories.- Take an active role in cross-regional synergies, optimization programs and projects to streamline and standardizeselection and logistics models that Will generate economies of scale. Monitor customer (internal) and vendor (external) compliance to procurement Principles & Practices within the assigned categoriesWho we're looking for:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Affairs or Economics or any other related fields.- 4+ years of experience in Procurement with exposure to a multinational environment, preferably within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company.- Project Management or project participation experience- SAP knowledge / Coupa (preferred)- Previous experience with complex negotiation, performance assessment process and contracts.- Fluent in English and Spanish
