Role summaryThis role supports the delivery of the Internal Audit plan by taking ownership for delivering components of audit engagements in line with the internal audit methodology, thereby contributing to the overall organizational success.The overall objective is to recruit, develop, and run an effective Internal Audit team, that ensures LSEG meets audit standards and regulations in partnership with business leaders.What you'll be doing:- Participate in audit prioritization activities and risk assessment.- Conduct the Planning of individual audit engagements, including identifying key risks and controls to be audited and settling procedures to be performed during the Audit Fieldwork.- Independently complete audit testing, analyze and detail key and more sophisticated business processes, risks, and controls. Lead individuals assigned to support specific components of a wider audit projects.- Define processes as needed and perform specific audit procedures to complete the audit engagement.- Interviewing business partners to understand and identify gaps in controls or operational improvements.- Ensure colleagues working on related sections of the audit implement agreed audit procedures.- Communicate audit work results independently.- Document and summarize audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.- Verify the factual accuracy of audit conclusions reached with partners.- Take ownership of assigned elements of audit engagements as agreed with engagement supervisors (Audit Managers and Senior Audit Managers).- Work with auditees to avoid repeat audit issues and ensure audit remediation plans are completed on time.- Applies a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with a relevant professional qualification.- Advance English is required.- Some experience in audit/assurance delivery is required.- Part Qualified Internal Audit Qualification (IIA / CIIA) or Part Qualified Accountant.
