Job Description: The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be part of the Cloudera Finance Systems group. The analyst will primarily work with finance business users in Revenue, AR, Tax, Cloud and cross-functional business teams, on various systems initiatives impacting NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, OpenAir and Avalara. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring proper change management is followed to comply with SOX and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
- Partner with business users in the Order to Cash (OTC) functions to identify current process gaps and implement solutions to enhance current functionality through product configuration, integration automation, BI reporting and RPA
- Provide end user support for Netsuite OTC functions including Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
- Develop and maintain Netsuite workflows. Gather reporting requirements and develop Netsuite saved searches and financial reports
- Partner with fellow systems analysts and developers in translating business requirements to functional/technical specifications
- Participate in New Product Introductions (NPI) calls and manage end-to-end UAT for OTC functions. Setup and maintain new SKUs in Netsuite production. Work with Tax finance lead in managing updates to Avalara tax codes on items
- Partner with IT, Engineering and Finance teams on systems initiatives related to Cloudera’s CDP cloud product portfolio. Implement new rate plans and workflows in Zuora. Provide daily production support to Cloud Finance and Sales Operations teams
- Work with application vendors and support teams to troubleshoot systems issues as they arise
- Document and maintain Functional specifications, User manuals, test scripts, test plans and training materials for OTC enhancements
- Perform monthly and quarterly SOX change management controls
- Conduct periodic training for end users on current and new systems features and processes for all OTC applications
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Accounting with related systems professional experience
- 3-5 years experience in systems analyst roles, implementing and supporting ERP and CRM applications such as Netsuite, Oracle, Salesforce, OpenAir, SAP
- Strong Netsuite Functional experience in the Order to Cash areas with focus on revenue recognition desired
- Experience with Netsuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module is highly preferable
- Experience developing Netsuite saved searches and financial reports
- Strong project management and analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- A good understanding of Accounting and Revenue recognition concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities
