Come join us and together we can make a difference in the future of healthcare.**Responsibilities**:- Planning and scheduling production materials.- Order placement of production materials, services and equipment.- Management of open orders to expedite / push out as production schedule requires.- Price negotiations.- Supplier Development.- Assist with inventory control and reduction plans for FGI and Raw Materials.- Member of the new product development team representing Purchasing.- Assist inventory control personnel to resolve inventory conflicts / discrepancies.- Initiate and maintain planning parameters (safety stock, lead-times etc.) in ERP system.- Inter-company communications on material status as required.- Acts as key contact for vendors.- Purchases office supplies.- Reviews material requirements and orders as needed.- Works with planner on unforeseen requirements.- Assists Engineering Department to procure materials not yet required by production.- Assists Maintenance, Tooling as well as Production Department in purchasing auxiliary equipment, shop supplies, and other items as required.**Qualifications**:- Must have a minimum of 5-8 or more years experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or other related field.- Expertise in managing supplier contracts with key suppliers.- Experience in working on technical products with engineering and new product development teams.- Experience with purchasing Finished Good products from 3rd party OEM suppliers.- Experience with plastic/rubber/silicone manufacturing processing methods, FDA and ISO quality procedures machine shops, injection molding processes, electronics, sterile disposable medical or biological products.- Familiarity with ERP/MRP and pull material flow systems.- Expertise with Lean Manufacturing, supplier partnerships and JIT techniques such as Kanban.- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.- Strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate with all levels of Associates.- Must be a strong team player and have strong influencing skills with the ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.- Good organizational skills, reasoning abilities and sound judgment.- Accurate and attention to detail.Your BenefitsDiversity & Inclusion: Enter a diversity-driven world of innovationEducation reimbursement: Financial aid to help propel your career to the next levelTraining / Career development: Programs to supercharge skills and expertiseMeal allowance: Allowance makes meals more affordableHealth insurance: Insurance: backstop protection against health risksAdditional InformationRoy Vargas- Discover more about us
